They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). Accuracy of billing

We may reject any order you place with us, and we reserve the right to limit or cancel the amount of items purchased per person, household or order. These limits may include orders placed by the same customer account, credit card, or orders using identical billing and/or shipping addresses. If we modify or cancel an order, we may make an effort to contact you via the email address and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time of purchase. We may choose to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole discretion, appear to be made by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to supply current, comprehensive and accurate billing and account details for all purchases made on our website. You also agree to update your account and other information, such as your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, in a timely manner to ensure that we can successfully process your transactions and communicate with you as required.

Ordering process

You may place your order by our website (akalloys.co.uk), Phone/email also you can place order physically in-store at our AutoKing service centre reception on Borough road, Middlesbrough.

The ‘confirmation’ stage sets out the final details of your order. Following this, we will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from akalloys.co.uk.

As part of our checkout process you will be given the opportunity to check your order and to correct any errors. We will send you an order acknowledgement, detailing the products you have ordered, again allowing you to check that all details and requirements were correctly submitted to us, including finance approval from our credit/finance partner in the form of the 'Finance agreement paperwork'.

Acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on despatch to you of the products ordered unless you have cancelled your order or we have notified you that we cannot fulfil your order for possible reasons such as

  • Goods are out of stock or no longer available
  • We cannot get payment confirmation by our merchant service provider.
  • here is a product or pricing error in the description of goods.

If any of the above is applicable, we will contact you to explain the position.


Delivery times & pending stock

All order will be shipped by a reputable shipping/courier service, we make every effort to offer fast and efficient delivery schedules with 2-3 days on most products other than small amount of niche stock that can take up to 10 days (awaiting stock from overseas suppliers such as the US or Europe), also delays with the nature of the products and size, our supply chain and courier service are inevitable due to unforeseen factors.

We shall be under no liability under for any costs, damages or expenses caused by any delay in the delivery of good from factors out of our control. Risk of loss/damage of products passes to you on the date when the products are delivered or on the date of first attempted delivery by us.

Delivery times are working days excluding Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. Saturday deliveries may incur extra charges if requiring Saturday delivery and are usually not guaranteed.

We carry goods/stocks of all popular advertised products. However it is not uncommon for an item to be temporarily out of stock and not available for despatch within 2-3 days, you will be notified as on internal confirmation when we receive your order. We can offer a replacement product or the updated timescale which both are based upon you cancelling your order where a full refund will be order or approved by you which we will acknowledge by email/phone also special orders will be confirmed with an expected delivery date.


Payment methods & pricing

We accept all major Credit and Debit cards. Payment can also be made by personal Cheque, Cash (in-store only), BACS Payment. We will not dispatch goods or put goods on backorder until payment is received in full or unless done in good faith.

All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the current rates. All prices are shown inclusive of VAT at all stages throughout the searching/ordering process, and all prices quoted in addition to this website by phone or by email shall also be given inclusive of VAT at all times. On Checkout a tax breakdown will be viewable furthermore a tax invoice will be provided when items have been purchased.

Goods are subject to availability. In the event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following two exceptions:

  • The product is unsuitable, every order is checked. If there is a problem with your order then you will be contacted by an advisor.
  • While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur.

If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.


Liability & warranties

On the rare occasion that goods are loss in transit, the goods will be replaced for an identical product. We will not issue a refund. All goods are supplied specific to the vehicle details that we are given at point of ordering. In the event that you fail to notify us of a vehicle modification that may lead to a part or parts not fitting correctly it will be at our discretion as to we will provide a bank credit or credit note is issued, unless goods have been specially ordered whereby they may be non-returnable.

We will not be held responsible for any fitting costs incurred by the customer on goods supplied. If goods have been incorrectly supplied it is your responsibility to notify us of this prior to fitting stage. On goods fitted that are later found to be faulty compensation is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of the manufacturer, all goods are subject to manufacturers' terms and conditions.

Nothing in these terms and conditions shall exclude or limit our liability for (i) death or personal injury caused by negligence (as such term is defined by the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977); (ii) fraud; (iii) misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter; or (iv) any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

If your use of material on this Website results in the need for servicing, repair or correction of equipment, software or data, you assume all costs thereof.

You agree to indemnify us fully, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees and agents, harmless from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of any breach of the terms and conditions by you, or your use of this Website, or the use by any other person using your registration details.

We will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site or that it will be timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the website akalloys.co.uk will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website and accepts no liability of any kind for any loss or damage from action taken or taken in reliance on material or information contained on the site.

We will take all reasonable precautions to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but, unless we are negligent, we cannot be held liable for any losses caused as a result of unauthorised access to information provided by you.

All product warranties and guarantees are provided solely by the product manufacturers and the UK importers. If you have a claim under warranty, the moment you contact us we will act on your behalf to pursue your warranty claim. On most occasions products deemed faulty under warranty will need to be returned to either ourselves or the manufacturer/importer for further inspection, but this will be done in the quickest time possible and treated as a matter of urgency. All warranty claims must be accompanied by an original invoice and proof of purchase and must be discussed with us before goods are returned. In the unlikely event that warranty claim is not deemed valid, we will not be liable for any costs incurred and we will not accept liability for any costs incurred throughout a claim for labour and/or other related charges. Warranty and Guarantee are voided in the event that products have been modified or have been sold on to a third party. The warranty and guarantees lie solely with the first user.

Please Note: Alloy Wheels in chrome/polished face are not covered by a guarantee/warranty, this is due to the weather in the UK and salts that are used commonly on the roads. Do not use pressure washers or abrasive wheel cleaners containing abrasives or acidic properties for wheel cleaning, any warranties will be void. Please note if tyres are driven on when flat all warranties are void. Manufacturers' warranties are subject to their own terms and conditions and customers should be aware that it can take up to 12 weeks to resolve.

When providing Credit minus shipping, dismantling and cleaning charges plus 20 per cent handling charge, tyres must not be driven on. Wheels and tyres that have been fitted are non-returnable. Please note when wheels and tyres that have been left on our premises due to fitting of new wheels and tyres, they will be disposed of within 7 days. Please also note that although we tighten the nuts to the correct torque, the nuts may need re-tightening after 20 miles or so of driving.

We do not pay for return carriage for any items whatsoever unless they were damaged or faulty at the time of delivery and we were advised immediately of receiving the delivery.


Images/illustration & typos

Some images shown on the site may not be images for your specific vehicle due to vehicle offsets and suitability, but more a generic image for illustration purposes only. Goods cannot be returned without reasonability (different design/colour) because the image not matching.

We aim to ensure that all information on our website is correct however we cannot be responsible for the use of the information given.

All advice given is indicative only and, in some cases, shall amount to an opinion only.

In the event of a typographical error either in number or wording, we have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed at the incorrect price or if the price error is negligible, we may continue with the order as a goodwill gesture.


Offers & promotions

Offers are correct at the time of publishing. Only one code/offer is to be used per customer per order. Offers are subject to stock availability. No cash alternative will be given should the promotional product or offer not be available. 0% finance unavailable on promotional prices and offers. Management reserve the right to withdraw the offer at any time, for any reason, without notice.


Intellectual property

You acknowledge and agree that all copyright, trademarks and all other intellectual property rights in all materials and/or content made available as part of your use of this website shall remain at all times vested in us or our licensors. You are permitted to use this material only as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.

You acknowledge and agree that the material and content contained within this website is made available for your personal non-commercial use only and that you may only download such material and content for the purpose of using this website. You further acknowledge that any other use of the material and content of this website is strictly prohibited and you agree not to (and agree not to assist or facilitate any third party to) copy, reproduce, transmit, publish, display, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works of such material and content.


Damaged Goods

All goods are inspected prior to shipment. Claims for goods must be made immediately and signed for on delivery as damaged otherwise the claim will be void.


Returns & cancellation policy

If you wish to cancel your order:

you can notify us by phone on 01642 432969 or email us on sales@akalloys.co.uk before we have dispatched the goods or before an order has reached the preparation stages (i.e: tyres being fitted wheels); or

where goods have already been dispatched to you, by returning goods to us in below paragraph. The cost to safely and securely return any unwanted items lies solely with the purchaser.

Any goods for return must be notified to us in writing within 14 working days commencing from the day after receipt. Once reported to us you have a further 14 days to return the items to us, Orders cancelled may incur a handling charge or restocking fee.

Once the goods are returned to us, we will refund you in full within 7 working days. You will receive the refund using the same payment method you used to pay for the goods. If you would like to exchange for a higher-priced item we will ask for your agreement to take payment for the difference, and if the exchange is for a lower-priced item the difference will be refunded to you.

Any non-faulty goods returned outside of the 14-day period without notice during the period we reserve the right to refuse. Please return products to the following office address:

We may provide a different address depending on the items but will provide this to you when a return/refund case has been opened.

The rights to return the goods to us as referred to above paragraph will not apply in the event that;

  1. The product has been used
  2. The product has been fitted
  3. The product is not returned to us in the same condition as you received the product.
  4. The product has been manufactured to individual requirements and/or on a special order basis.

All Alloy Wheel and Tyre Packages are deemed as special order items.

  1. The product has been sold/passed on to a third party. Any goods that are damaged in transit on return to us due to poor packaging or lack of care on your behalf resulting in scratched Alloys for example will not be refunded and will be returned to sender. Please ensure all returns are packaged to the same level as when initially received. We require all original manufacturer/branded packaging to be enclosed if originally in place.

Sometimes the product specifications from the manufacturer may change, in which case we will do our best to offer you a substitute of the same or better quality at the same price. If you are not happy with the replacement you can return it in accordance within the 14 day period. Where applicable, you may cancel your order in accordance with your rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.

Every order from us will be courier delivered and require a signature upon receipt. Prior to signing for goods, we ask that you check that the goods are both undamaged and that all goods are in the consignment that should be. Signing for the goods is an acceptance that everything in the delivery is as it should be and undamaged. If your order is being sent to a work address, please ensure that the person signing for the goods on your behalf if not yourself is aware of what needs to be done on the arrival of the delivery. If you inform us of damages or shortfalls after signing for a consignment it makes it very difficult to make a claim from the couriers and some couriers will not accept liability. Claims for damages and shortfalls will be processed within 48 hours.

In the event of an alleged defect with goods fitted and used but still under warranty, the purchaser must return the goods to us for inspection and assessment of the fault. If the defect is deemed a fault covered by warranty and still within the cover period, we will pursue the claim with the utmost importance. As outlined below, please contact us prior to making any returns so that we are aware of the return initially and also so we can begin to establish if the fault is one that is covered by the terms of the warranty and ensure that the product is still within the warranty period.

The provisions of these clauses do not affect your statutory rights.
